Smith Construction (Heckington) Ltd, and turf manufacturers, Limonta Sport, a FIFA preferred producer, have combined their skills and expertise to form a joint venture company, Limonta Smith JV, for FA and RFU framework projects.
The company has been selected by the FA, RFU and Football Foundation, to provide specialist design, build and maintenance services for artificial pitches within a new national framework of contractors. The four-year framework aims to improve vastly the quality of artificial pitches constructed throughout the UK.
DYC have concentrated on coaching football and boxing since 1986, after reforming the club following an arson attack. The club, located next to Sunny Bank Park, now runs twenty-two football teams; boys U8’s – U17’s, girls teams, senior teams and soccer school for 5-7 year olds. The club expect twice as many players to benefit from the state of the art pitch including Droylsden FC, who play in the conference North League.
